  • Do you support tips / grats such as in a restaurant or hotel?
    Absolutely! With the tick of a checkbox you can enable a powerful gratuity system within The Payroll App. Your company will be able to select from a range of automatic gratuity distribution strategies or elect to manually distribute grats. You can also enable 'charge tips' or 'table-top tips' which are the additional tips guests leave on the final bill. What's more, taxes are automatically calculated and your NIB C10 Report reflects taxes paid on gratuities. Learn more about tips >
  • Will I still pay for inactive or terminated employees?
    No! Plain and simple. With The Payroll App you only pay for each employee paid per month. It does not matter how many times you pay that employee in a month, you will only be charged one flat fee - no hidden costs. Take a look at our pricing page >
  • Can I grant my accountant access to view reports in The Payroll App?
    Of course. Each company can add up to three unique administrators and assign individual permissions to each administrator as needed. For example, your accountant might only have access to 'View Reports', or you may grant access to one administrator to 'Run Payroll' but not 'Approve Payroll'. As the 'Primary Company Administrator' you can also reset passwords, disable or even delete administrators under your account. Learn more about additional administrators and access control >
  • How will my employees receive their pay stubs?
    Once you approve a payroll, click the 'Send All Pay stubs' button. Immediately all pay stubs will be sent to your employees. Paystubs can be sent via email, WhatsApp, or SMS -- it's up to you & your employees. The Pay stub is a mobile-friendly pdf file so employees can open the document on any phone.   • Can I create salary deductions or garnishments on employee paystubs?
    Of course you can. Need to give a salary advance? Create a salary advance on an employee's profile in The Payroll App and select how to make the deductions and forget it - The Payroll App will accurately garnish your employee's wages until the full amount is retrieved.   • Can I insert an image, video, or gif in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Enter the app’s Settings 2. Click on the “Manage FAQs” button 3. Select the question you would like to add media to 4. When editing your answer click on the camera, video, or GIF icon 5. Add media from your library.
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Click “Manage FAQs” button 2. From your site’s dashboard you can add, edit and manage all your questions and answers 3. Each question and answer should be added to a category 4. Save and publish.
  • How do I edit or remove the “FAQ” title?
    You can edit the title from the Settings tab in the app. If you don’t want to display the title, simply disable the Title under “Info to Display”.
  • What is an FAQ section?
    An FAQ section can be used to quickly answer common questions about you or your business, such as “Where do you ship to?”, “What are your opening hours?” or “How can I book a service?” It’s a great way to help people navigate your site and can even boost your site’s SEO.
